I am a Pediatric intensivist with postgraduate training in Pediatrics (FCPS) and Pediatric Critical Care Medicine (FCPS-PCCM). I am actively involved in clinical care, teaching, and research within the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). My academic interests focus on mechanical ventilation, extubation readiness and failure, pediatric sepsis, hemodynamic monitoring, and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS).
I have a strong interest in clinical epidemiology and quality improvement research, particularly aimed at improving outcomes of critically ill children in resource-limited settings. I am engaged in developing and implementing evidence-based protocols and mentoring trainees in research methodology and critical care practices. Through academic collaboration, research dissemination, and continuous professional development, I aspire to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of pediatric critical care at a national and international level, including active engagement with the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM).
