I am Victor Gonzalez, MD, a 2nd year Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine Fellow and current Co-Chief Fellow at the University of Houston/HCA Houston - Kingwood program. I am originally from South Texas and attended Texas A&M University - Corpus Christi for undergraduate. I attended medical school at The University of Texas Health Science Center - McGovern Medical School where I discovered my interest in critical care. After receiving my Internal Medicine residency training at the Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, I knew PCCM was the path for me. I have a burgeoning passion for cardiovascular critical care as well as point-of-care ultrasound and teaching. Outside of medicine, I enjoy live music, hiking, traveling with my wife, or lounging with our three cats.
