Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital
Dr. Shubhi Kaushik is a pediatric intensivist and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. She serves as the Associate Medical Director of the Pediatric ECMO Program at Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital, where she helps oversee the care of critically ill children requiring advanced extracorporeal support.
Dr. Kaushik completed her fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore. She is board-certified in both pediatrics and pediatric critical care medicine.
Her clinical and research interests center on optimizing outcomes for pediatric patients supported by ECMO, with a particular focus on bleeding, thrombosis, and novel antithrombotic strategies. Dr. Kaushik is actively engaged in ECMO quality improvement initiatives and contributes to the advancement of evidence-based practices in extracorporeal support.
