Tom Diaz, PharmD, is a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. His clinical and research interests focus on the optimization of pharmacotherapy in shock states, resuscitation, and pharmacokinetics in critically ill patients. He has contributed to studies on anticoagulation in obesity, pre-filter heparin use in dialysis, epinephrine administration during cardiac arrest, and select studies in spaceflight pharmacology. Dr. Diaz is passionate about advancing the role of the critical care pharmacist and exploring applications of critical care principles in austere environments.
