Dr. Victoria L. Williams is a Clinical Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University College of Pharmacy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in the Pharmaceutical Sciences and Doctor of Pharmacy degrees from The Ohio State University (OSU). Upon graduation, Dr. Williams pursued residency training in acute care. She earned her PGY1 certificate from the University of Tennessee Medical Center and her PGY2 certificate from the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she specialized in Critical Care. Upon completion of residency training, Dr. Williams earned Board Certification in Critical Care Pharmacy (BCCCP) as she pursued fellowship training in academia at her alma mater, OSU. Upon completion of her fellowship, Dr. Williams began her career as a Clinical Assistant Professor, where she currently spends approximately half of her time as a medical intensive care unit specialist pharmacist and the other half of her time teaching in an integrated pharmacotherapy course sequence, precepting students and residents, and conducting research. Her clinical research interests include novel kidney biomarkers (specifically cystatin C) and drug dosing in acute kidney injury and various dialysis modalities. She also dedicates effort to the scholarship of teaching, learning, and assessment with a focus on curriculum overload.
