Nathaniel Minigh, MD FAAP completed medical school at the American University of the Caribbean School of medicine, on the island of St. Maarten, before going on to complete pediatric residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY. He is currently completing his fellowhsip in Pediatric critical care at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. He has a passion for improvement in the Pediatric units that he has been a part of and has worked on simulation based quality improvement projects during his time in residency and fellowship. He has worked with PICU faculty, staff and Pediatric residents in developing a CPR coach role at the University of Kentucky to continue to improve CPR metrics during Pediatric Code events. Utilizing simulation to help train the work flow and improve metrics outside of real world events.
Outside of medicine, He enjoys playing board games and spending time outdoors with his wife, Jessica, and 4 year old son, Landon.
