Sehaj Kaur is an undergraduate student majoring in neuroscience at Case Western Reserve University who participated in the Nemours Summer Undergraduate Research (NSURP) Program in the summer of 2025. As an undergraduate student, she conducts research at the Cleveland Clinic under Dr. Justin D. Lathia in addition to being a NSURP summer student under Dr. Scott Weiss of Nemours Childrens Hospital. As a part of NSURP, she presented to her cohort and the Nemours community through an oral and poster presentation. She has presented her undergraduate work at the Midwest/Great Lakes Undergraduate Research Symposium in Neuroscience and plans to graduate with honors by presenting a thesis defense of her capstone project. Outside of research, she is a volunteer for Seeds of Literacy, dances on a competitive South Asian team, works shifts as a volunteer EMT on CWRU EMS, volunteered as a camp counselor with Camp Kesem, and makes weekly visits to hospice patients. She hopes to continue pursuing research in medical school and wants to work with kids in the future.
