Abigail Mason is a PGY-2 Critical Care Pharmacy Resident at Erlanger Health in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Current and previous areas of research include blood glucose management in critically ill patients, the use of adjunctive methylene blue in septic shock, pharmacist-led optimization of heparin protocols, and evaluation of parenteral nutrition continuation in patients with bloodstream infections. She is also passionate about interprofessional education and serves as a preceptor for pharmacy residents and students. Following residency, she plans to persue a career as a critical care pharmacist at an academic medical center.
