Dr. Caitlyn Johnson-Bryant is a PGY-3 resident physician in Emergency Medicine at The George Washington University in Washington, DC. Her academic and clinical interests include airway management, resuscitation performance, and equity-centered approaches to critical care. She is an active member of GW’s CoVeRT program, where she conducts video review of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and intubations to support quality improvement and enhance interdisciplinary performance during high-acuity resuscitations.
Dr. Johnson-Bryant is deeply committed to mentorship and pipeline programming, having served in multiple leadership roles supporting student development, clinical shadowing, and national pathway initiatives. She continues to work closely with programs dedicated to expanding access to medicine for underrepresented and historically excluded students.
Her scholarly work includes peer-reviewed publications in Annals of Emergency Medicine and Ethnicity & Health, as well as development of undergraduate medical curriculum focused on social determinants in health and health disparities.
