Dr. Kathryn Kalata is a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellow at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Kalata completed her undergraduate degree at Northwestern University and medical school, Pediatric Residency, and Chief Residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She is passionate about working toward equitable healthcare and outcomes in pediatric critical care through community-based participatory research. She has a particular interest in social determinants of health, culturally-responsive bereavement care, and medical education that advances health equity.
