My name is Astrid Soto-Ruiz,MD I am a board certified pediatrician, completing my pediatric critical care fellowship at Arnold Palmer Hospital in Orlando on June 2026. While in fellowship I also work as a Peds ED/ Hospitalist locum at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL. I am interested in neurocritical care which is where I targeted my fellow research towards traumatic brain injury which is a topic I am passionate about. I love to teach and received the resident teacher award during last year's graduation. I enjoy participating in simulation experiences geared towards nurses and residents. When I am not at hospital taking care of children I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, cooking, and reading.
