Serves as a faculty member in infectious diseases and microbiology at the University of Tolima. Nowadays, Biosciences PhD student in Universidad de La Sabana. Leading national efforts on the management of severe yellow fever and other tropical infections in critically ill patients, with a focus on immunopathogenesis and extracorporeal therapies. Currently research examines outcomes and immune modulation associated with plasmapheresis in severe yellow fever.
