Asami Ito, MD, PhD (she/her/hers)

Asami Ito, MD, PhD, is an assistant professor for the Advanced Emergency and Critical Care Center at Mie University, Tsu, Mie, Japan. She is also a visiting researcher at Electrical and Computer Engineering at Rice University, Houston, Texas, USA. She obtained her medical license at Mie University and completed her residency at the Advanced Emergency and Critical Care Center at Mie University. She has completed her doctorate at the Department of Molecular Pathobiology and Cell Adhesion Biology of Mie University Graduate School of Medicine.
