Luciana Gioli-Pereira, PhD, MD (she/her/hers)

Sao Paulo, Brazil

Prof Luciana Gioli-Pereira holds dual degrees in Biological Sciences (Medical Modality) and Medicine from the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), where she also earned her PhD in Molecular Biology. She completed her postdoctoral training in Congenital Heart Disease Genetics at the Laboratory of Genetics and Molecular Cardiology, InCor – HCFMUSP. Dr Gioli-Pereira is board-certified in Internal Medicine (UNIFESP), Cardiology (InCor – HCFMUSP), and Adult Intensive Care (AMIB). She currently serves as an Adjunct Professor in Emergency Medicine and Intensive Care at the Faculty of Medicine of the Albert Einstein School of Health Sciences, and as a staff intensivist at the Adult ICU of Hospital Municipal Dr. Gilson de Cássia Marques de Carvalho – Albert Einstein Hospital, Sao Paulo.
