Sam Khan, M.D. is an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology and Emergency Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine. He trained in Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School at Mount Sinai and did an Anesthesiology Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at the University of Michigan. He is currently the medical director of the Emory University Hospital Midtown Peachtree ICU (Medical-Surgical ICU) and an Associate Chief Health Informatics Officer at Emory Healthcare. His primary academic and research interest is critical care informatics, data science, and the application of machine learning/AI technology to the ICU.
