Johns Hopkins University
Dr. Nadkarni is a T32 Postdoctoral Research Fellow, as well as a Staff Pediatric Anesthesiologist and Intensivist, in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Nadkarni completed her clinical training in pediatrics, anesthesiology, pediatric anesthesiology, and pediatric critical care medicine. She received a Master of Health Science degree in Clinical Investigations through the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Her primary research focus surrounds critical perioperative events in children, including cardiac arrest and extracorporeal cardiopulmonary resuscitation, with the ultimate goal of improving systems of care surrounding these events. She is also involved in quality improvement work on de-escalating high flow nasal cannula for children with bronchiolitis.
