Trevor Sytsma, MD, is a PGY-1 Anesthesiology resident at Duke University School of Medicine, where he completed medical school as well. His clinical interests include perioperative nutrition and optimization, food and nutrition insecurity, and cardiothoracic anesthesiology. Outside of residency, he is a Co-Manager for the Fresh Produce Program, a student-run organization which serves ~450 food-insecure families in Durham, North Carolina, with biweekly deliveries of free, fresh, locally-sourced produce.
