Kelly Collins, BSN, CPN, CCRN, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Department of Critical Care Medicince, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, Cincinnati Children's Hospital. She leads initiatives in education, high-fidelity simulation, cardiac arrest and event reviews, quality improvement, and research. She began her career as a bedside PICU nurse over seventeen years ago, developing a strong foundation in critical care and multidisciplinary collaboration. In her current role, she oversees unit wide quality and safety projects , supports research aimed at advancing pediatric critical care practices and improves team preformance through simulation and education. She remains closely integrated with the PICU team, providing clinical support, educating the multidisciplinary team, and drives initiatives that enhance both patient safety and staff development.
