Scott is certified as a Physician Associate by the NCCPA. Completed an undergraduate degree in Emergency Health Services and received his paramedic certification in 1995 from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
Served as a paramedic with New Castle County (Delaware) EMS until 2000 when he entered Physician Assistant School. Graduated from Finch University of Health Sciences in 2002 with a Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies.
Scott has been working as a Physician Associate for over 20 years working in Trauma, Critical Care and Acute Care Surgery and is currently serving in the role of OHSU’s inaugural Sepsis Program Manager since 2022.
Special Interests: Sepsis, Early Warning Systems, Emergency Medical Services, Quality Improvement, Coding and Billing, Disaster Management.
