Whitney E. Marvin, MD is a board-certified pediatric intensivist and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina, where she serves as the Medical Director of Well-being and Pediatric Well-being Lead. An active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine since 2013, she combines clinical excellence with nationally recognized leadership in healthcare workforce well-being. Through grant support and statewide collaboration, she has helped design and evaluate system-level interventions to build thriving healthcare teams, particularly in ICU settings. Nationally, she serves on SCCM committees and within the American Academy of Pediatrics, including the WHiCED Clinical Event Debriefing Project Advisory Committee, and contributes to state and national well-being initiatives. She has a sustained commitment to advancing pediatric critical care through collaborative practice, education, scholarship, and culture change that supports both patients and the clinicians who care for them.
