Heather Przybyl, RN

Banner University Medical Center Phoenix, Arizona

With over 30 years of nursing experience in critical care, I have dedicated nearly two decades of my career to Banner University Medical Center Phoenix (BUMCP) in various leadership and clinical roles. My background includes serving as an educator in the MICU for 10 years, working as a quality improvement specialist, and currently practicing as the RN Certified Specialist for Critical Care.

I am actively engaged in advancing critical care nursing through speaking at national conferences via poster and podium presentations and authoring multiple publications on staff training, pressure injury prevention, and continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT).

In addition to my professional work, I am deeply involved with the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN). I currently serve as Vice President of the Greater Phoenix Area Chapter (GPAC), contribute to the Chapter Advisory Team (CAT), and most recently served on the national Nominating Committee.

My career has been dedicated to improving patient outcomes, advancing evidence-based practice, and supporting the growth and engagement of critical care clinicians.
