Jenna F. Cox, PharmD, BCPS, BCCCP, FCCM is a Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in the Cardiopulmonary ICU at Primsa Health Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC. She serves as the PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Program Director for Prisma Health Richland-University of South Carolina and olds an Academic Affiliate Clinical Associate Professor appointment at the University of South Carolina College of Pharmacy. Her professional areas of interest include mechanical circulatory support, anticoagulation, acute coronary syndromes, and PK/PD alterations (during critical illness/CRRT/ECMO/plasmapheresis).
Dr. Cox graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC, and graduated with her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of South Carolina in Columbia, South Carolina. She then completed her PGY1 residency at Palmetto Health Richland Hospital (currently Prisma Health Richland Hospital), where she has since continued working as a critical care pharmacist in cardiac ICUs.
Dr. Cox is an active member of several professional organizations including American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), the South Carolina Society of Health-System Pharmacists (SCSHP), the Society of Critical Care Medicien (SCCM), and the Carolinas/Virginias Chapter of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (CVCSCCM). She is the current President of the CVCSCCM, serves as member at large on the ACCP Critical Care Practice and Research Network, and recently served as chair of the ACCP Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Accessibility Committee. In 2025, Dr. Cox was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine.
