Sharon Raymond-Forde, MD (she/her/hers)

Henry Ford Hospital, Michigan

Dr. Sharon Raymond-Forde, MD, is a Senior Staff Physician in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan, where she practices general pulmonary and critical care medicine and is actively involved in clinical research. She is also a member of the health system’s pulmonary hypertension program, one of two centers in Michigan accredited by the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.

Dr. Raymond-Forde completed her Internal Medicine residency at The Jewish Hospital – Mercy Health in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training. After several years practicing as a hospitalist, she pursued fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Henry Ford Hospital and subsequently joined the medical staff upon completion of her fellowship. Her clinical interests include chronic thromboembolic pulmonary disease and right ventricular failure. Her research activities include serving as a sub-investigator in national and multicenter clinical trials and as principal investigator of a real-world study evaluating sotatercept in a diverse pulmonary arterial hypertension population at a PHA-accredited center in Detroit. Dr. Raymond-Forde has presented, published, and served as a faculty moderator on a range of pulmonary and critical care topics at national and international meetings. She is an active member of the American College of Chest Physicians Pulmonary Vascular Disease Network, where she helps contribute to the network’s educational, scholarly and mentorship activities. Her scholarly work includes abstracts, manuscripts and case reports addressing right ventricular failure, pulmonary embolism, sepsis, ARDS and interstitial lung disease. She is committed to advancing clinical excellence, research, and equitable care for patients with pulmonary vascular disease.
