This session will revive the robust discussion from a Pediatrics Section VanGuard session. Participants will describe the evolution of job models in pediatric critical care, from academic-focused models to clinically focused models and everything in between. Conversation will include how units are staffed, operation at top of license, backup and overnight coverage, nonclinical responsibilities, the learning environment, and how non-ICU care delivery (in hospital wards, sedation, watcher programs) is included (roles, responsibilities).
