Children's Hospital of Philadelphia - University of Pennsylvania, Washington
Jesse Wenger is an associate professor of pediatrics in the division of critical care medicine at Seattle Children's Hospital and the University of Washington. He completed his undergraduate degree at Roberts Wesleyan College and then his medical degree at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, both located in Rochester, NY. He then went on to complete a combined residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Following the completion of residency, he worked as a PICU hospitalist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for two years, and then an additional year as a PICU hospitalist at Seattle Children's Hospital before completing his fellowship in pediatric critical care at Seattle Children’s Hospital. He has been on faculty since 2018. His academic areas of interest include the use and implementation of bedside ultrasound in the management of critically ill children as well as quality improvement in pediatric resuscitation.
