Karla Resendiz is a clinical pharmacy specialist in the Pediatric ICU at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Texas at Austin. She subsequently completed a Pharmacy Practice Residency at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC and a Pediatric Pharmacy Specialty Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Her clinical interests include extracorporeal life support, therapeutic drug monitoring and neurocritical care. She is currently the chair of the Pediatric Pharmacy Association’s Practice-Based Research Network and the Vice-Chair for the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s ICU Liberation Committee.
