Rahul Kashyap, MBA, MD, FCCM (he/him/his)

Wellspan Health, New Jersey

Dr. Kashyap is the medical director of research for WellSpan Health in York, PA. He is also a faculty at Drexel University College of Medicine. He holds academic rank of assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, and research scientist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr Kashyap holds a M.B.B.S. (M.D. equivalent) degree from TN Dr. MGR Medical University at Madurai Medical College, India and M.B.A. degree from Augsburg University at Minneapolis, MN. He has completed Global Clinical Scholars Research Training (GCSRT) from Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA and has received Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (FCCM) from American College of Critical Care Medicine.
He also has 19+ years of clinical research, data analytics, quality improvement and higher education learning experience, with more than 300 PubMed cited publications, 10+ book chapters, and has edited three books. He has successfully led several national and international research projects, most notably, one of the largest registries called VIRUS: COVID-19 Registry in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic and Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM). He brings clinical research methodology, data analytics and quality improvement expertise and passion for mentoring and scientific publications, to help advance and highlight excellent clinical care at hospitals.
