Ally M. Hynes, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Trauma and Acute Care Surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She completed her Emergency Medicine residency at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center and a two-year Surgical Critical Care fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Hynes is board-certified in Emergency Medicine, Surgical Critical Care, and Neurological Critical Care, and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine and the American College of Emergency Physicians.
Dr. Hynes’s clinical, educational, and research interests focus on the care of injured and critically ill patients. She serves as Chair of the American Academy of Emergency Medicine Critical Care Medicine Section, Chair-Elect of the American College of Emergency Physicians’ Critical Care Medicine Section, and Associate Editor for Emergency Medicine for Trauma Surgery & Acute Care Open. She has presented nationally and internationally and published in multiple high-impact peer-reviewed journals.
