Nicole Palm, PharmD, BCCCP, FCCM is a surgical intensive care unit clinical pharmacy specialist at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Palm completed her training at University of Illinois -Chicago and subsequently Medical University of South Carolina in 2015. Dr. Palm's practice is integrated with the multidiscplinary surgical critical care team overseeing a 30-bed ICU of mixed patients, including a large cohort of abdominal transplant recipients in a specialized 10-bed transplant surgical ICU. Dr. Palm lectures regionally to anesthesia assistants and educates the pharmacy and anesthesia trainees at her institution. Her research interests include perioperative hemodynamic complications, pain management and sedation, infectious complications in the immunocompromised, supportive care, and perioperative hemostasis with pharmalogic adjunctive therapies.
