Erika L Setliff, DNP, APRN, CCRN, ACNS-BC, FCCM is the Clinical Nurse Specialist for Virtual Critical Care with Atrium Health in NC and GA.
In her 20 years of practice in critical care as a nurse, educator, and Clinical Nurse Specialist, Erika has led work from the unit to large scale system level in critical care and resuscitation. Through her role in Tele-Critical Care, she leverages her passion for innovation and evidence-based practice to influence practice across a large regional critical care network. She is very involved with SCCM's ICU Liberation work, currently cochairing this Committee. Her awards - including NC-NACNS CNS Pioneer of Change award and NC Great 100 recognition - and frequent conference and speaking engagements reflect her dedication to advancing practice and improving outcomes for critically ill patients and their families.
Research and Practice areas of interest include: early detection of clinical deterioration, Post-Intensive Care Syndrome (PICS), ICU Liberation, implementation science, workplace violence prevention, and avoiding preventable harm.
