Daniel Peverini, MD, MDiv, is currently a second-year resident physician in the department of internal medicine at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. Born in Loma Linda, CA, he completed a BA in religious studies at La Sierra University and an MDiv at Princeton Theological Seminary before completing his MD at Loma Linda University. After completing residency, Dr. Peverini plans to complete a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine, and to pursue further research in the areas of ICU delirium prevention and medical ethics in the ICU.
