Alana is a third-year pediatric resident at Children's National Hospital (CNH) who will be starting a Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Fellowship at CNH in July 2026. Her academic interests lie at the intersection of critical care medicine, medical education, and provider well-being. Dr. Engelbrecht is particularly interested in how physiologic stress metrics can inform training, simulation, and systems-level interventions to support clinician performance and patient safety.
