Daniel Soliman is a medical student at Washington University in St. Louis. He received his BS in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduating with Honors and Distinction. He works in the lab of Dr. Enyo Ablordeppey, MD, MPH, FACEP, FCCM, in the Departments of Anesthesiology and Emergency Medicine, involved in projects on sepsis, clinical metrics, and implementation science. He plans to pursue residency in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine. He has done basic science research in chemistry, immunology, and microbiology; and clinical research in infectious diseases, emergency medicine, and critical care. His methodologies of interest include chart review; survey design; and data wrangling, analysis, and visualization. He is interested in analyzing and identifying barriers and facilitators to the implementation of evidence-based practices in the clinical setting.
