Kumaran Senthil, MD is a Pediatric Critical Care Physician and Pediatric Anesthesiologist at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. His research interests focus on neurologic outcomes after critical illnesses including both traumatic brain injury to cardiac arrest. He has a specific focus on ICU TBI management and electroencephalographic signs of injury that may be precipitated by subclinical ischemia. He also is the medical lead for ICU Liberation at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, has authored the revised CHOP Sedation for the Mechanically Ventilated Patient and is interested in understanding intensive care unit incidence of awareness while under neuromuscular blockade.
