Dr. Marwa Mansour is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics in the Section of Critical Care Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. She completed her pediatric residency training at the University of Florida – Jacksonville (Wolfson Children’s Hospital) and her fellowship in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine / Texas Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Mansour’s clinical and academic work focuses on nutrition and gut microbiome in critically ill children. She has led and co-authored multiple studies examining the impact of nutrition adequacy, feeding practices in pediatric patients on ECMO and mechanical ventilation. Her research aims to optimize nutritional strategies to improve outcomes in this vulnerable population, bridging bedside clinical practice with data-driven research and quality improvement initiatives.
