Dr. Charli Fox is a third-year Critical Care Medicine fellow at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia and earned her Doctor of Medicine from Mercer University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where she developed a strong interest in the care of critically ill children with complex cardiopulmonary disease.
Her curent research centers on pulmonary vascular disease, with particular interests in interstitial lung disease–associated pulmonary hypertension and chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH). She is dedicated to improving early recognition and management strategies for patients with rare and high-risk pulmonary vascular conditions.
In addition to her clinical and research work, Dr. Fox is passionate about medical education and quality improvement. She is committed to fostering collaboration among multidisciplinary teams and advancing evidence-based, family-centered care in the pediatric intensive care unit.
