Jamie Hollowell, DNP, RN, ACNP

Jamie Hollowell, DNP, RN, ACNP is the APP Manager for the Acute Care Services - Surgical Division at the Univerisity of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. She currently practices clinically as an acute care nurse practitioner in the Burn ICU at the UNC Jaycee Burn center. Her background includes working in a variety of critical care settings, including surgery, trauma, medicine, neurocritical care, cardiothoracic, and burn. Jamie has work as a clinical instructor at Duke University for over 16 years with their ABSN program and with the post-master's ACNP at UNC. She has been a first author on over 18 abstracts and present presented at local, regional, and national conferences in both burn and critical care. Her interests include improving quality and outcomes in burn critical care, and promoting career growth for APPs.
