I am a pediatric critical care physician, informaticist, and Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado, with primary appointment in the Department of Pediatrics in the Section of Critical Care and a secondary appointment in the Department of Biomedical Informatics. My career goal is to be an independently funded physician-scientist leading a team of statisticians, informaticist, clinical trialists, and clinicians to design and validate simple, clear, interpretable, and evidence-based tools to bring machine learning-based knowledge to the bedside to improve outcomes in pediatric septic shock.
