Arilyn Maier, PharmD, MBA, BCCCP is a Critical Care Pharmacist and serves as the PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency Coordinator at UNC Health Rex in Raleigh, North Carolina. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Research, a Master of Business Administration, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from Campbell University College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. Dr. Maier completed both her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy Residency at UNC Health Rex. Her clinical interests include toxicology, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and infectious diseases. Dr. Maier is dedicated to advancing critical care pharmacy practice through interdisciplinary collaboration, quality improvement initiatives, and the development of learners and residents. She is an integral member of several institutional committees, including the Sepsis Committee, Antimicrobial Stewardship Committee, Critical Care Education Committee, Resident Education Committee, Resident Recruitment Committee, System Stroke Consortium, and Code Stroke Committee. Dr. Maier is also an active member of the Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) and the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) Practice and Research Networks (PRNs).
