Ann and Robert H Lurie Childrens Hospital of Chicago
Matthew Rowland is a pediatric anesthesiologist and pediatric critical care physician. He is currently the medical director of hepatobiliary and transplant anesthesia, co-medical director of the Rapid Difficult Airway Response (RaDAR) program, and assistant medical director of the vascular access team. Matt's clinical interests include difficult airway management, anesthesia for neuromuscular scoliosis repair, pediatric liver transplant anesthesia, and the intersection between pediatric anesthesia and critical care including optimization of pre- and post-operative management for complex cases. His research interests include difficult airway management in both the OR and ICUs and vascular access.
