Dr. Barnes is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Wayne State University's College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in Detroit, Michigan. The long-term goal of his research program is to characterize the impact of ICU drug interventions on patients’ long-term outcomes and experiences after hospital discharge. This work seeks to improve the quality of life of patients who survive critical illness.
