Cleveland Clinic, Ohio
Amanda is currently a CA-2 anesthesiology resident at the Cleveland Clinic. She graduated from the MD-MPH program at Loyola SSOM in 2023 and has strong interests in clinical research, having spent 6 years in perioperative medicine research between undergrad and medical school. Her research interests include patient-centered outcomes research, continuous postoperative hemodynamic monitoring, and clinical trials in intensive care. She is applying for critical care fellowship this year and plans to pursue additional clinical research training during fellowship and her early career stages. In addition to serving as the Junior Research Officer for her residency program, Amanda is the Senior Co-Editor of the Residents' Review of the ASA Monitor, a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists Resident Component Governing Council, a member of the SOCCA Membership Committee, and an Editorial Fellow for Anesthesia & Analgesia. In her free time, she enjoys playing pick-up volleyball with her co-residents, traveling, carefully curating her fantasy football team, attending live concerts, and spending time with her two greyhounds, Iko and Althea.
