Ruiqi (Tina) Huang, MS, graduated from UCLA Bioengineering and is now a Data Scientist at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. She is interested in leveraging data and advanced analytics to strengthen clinical decision-making and improve patient care. She collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to translate clinical questions into machine-learning problems and develop tools that integrate seamlessly into clinical workflows. She is currently working on building a clinical decision support (CDS) tool to predict lab test values, with the long-term goal of reducing unnecessary lab testing.
