Matthew Trump DO, Physician, The Iowa Clinic P.C. Dr. Trump has been in Pulmonary/Critical Care practice in the Des Moines, IA area since 2014. He is an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine. and an instructor at Des Moines University School of Osteopathic Medicine. He is section chief for the Pulmonary/Critical Care division of the University of Iowa – Des Moines Internal Medicine Residency program.He currently serves as Medical Director for UnityPoint Pulmonary Rehabilitation. His clinical interests include airway diseases such as asthma, bronchiectasis, and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease; lung cancer diagnosis and staging; and management of respiratory failure with mechanical ventilation, ECMO, and nasal high flow therapy. Dr. Trump has principal investigator on several clinical trials and has collaborated on numerous scientific abstracts and peer reviewed publications. He is currently involved in a multidisciplinary research project investigating nasal high flow use at Unity Point - Methodist Hospital in Des Moines.
