Michele Domico, MD, FAAP, FCCM (she/her/hers)

CHOC Children's Hospital

Dr Michele Domico is a Pediatric Cardiac Intensivist at Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) and an Associate Medical Director of both the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit and the Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation Program. After completing her final year of fellowship training in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Great Ormond Street Hospital in London, England, Dr Domico returned home to Southern California in 2007 and has been at CHOC ever since. Her professional interests include a newfound passion for environmental sustainability in healthcare. This led her back to school for a Master of Sustainability Leadership degree, completed in 2025. Dr Domico is also the co-Chair of the SCCM Environmental Sustainability Task Force. After nearly two decades dedicated to pediatric critical care medicine, Dr Domico was inducted as a Fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine in 2024.
