This session will present new evidence-based guidelines on caring for older adults in the ICU and for providing end-of-life care to infants and children in ICU settings. Attendees will gain insights into multidisciplinary approaches that prioritize comfort, dignity, and communication during the final stage of life for critically ill infants and children. Attendees will also learn about recommended best practices in caring for older ICU patients across the spectrum of critical illness and recovery.
