In today’s high-stakes healthcare environment, leadership demands more than clinical expertise—it requires agility, resilience, and the confidence to lead through uncertainty. This session is designed to empower critical care leaders—whether new to the role or seasoned veterans—to thrive amid rapid change and ongoing challenges. Speakers will cover how to lead with agility and resilience, strategies for maintaining excellence, and inclusive leadership practices for uncertain times. The session features interactive discussions and hands-on learning with analysis and application of lessons from real-world case studies, and collaboration and growth with fellow leaders.

Learning Objectives:

  • Analyze the impact of resource constraints on critical care program quality and identify strategies to maintain performance and morale under pressure
  • Evaluate common contributors to workforce challenges, including burnout, generational dynamics, and leadership gaps, and develop actionable approaches for team engagement and retention
  • Demonstrate effective communication techniques and leadership behaviors that foster psychological safety and a positive organizational culture in high-stakes environments
  • Design an individualized action plan to lead inclusive, adaptive, and technology-informed change in a critical care setting
