Devang Sanghavi is an intensivist in the Department of Critical Care Medicine at Mayo Clinic Florida with a joint appointment in Department of Transplantation. He is the Vice Chair of Critical Care Medicine and the Medical Director of the Medical ICU. He did his medical schooling in Topiwala National Medical College in Mumbai, India. He did his internal medicine residency and Chief Residency at Presence Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago. He graduated from the Critical Care fellowship training program at Mayo Clinic, Rochester. He also did his graduate training at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis, having completed a two-year master’s program in Health Administration.
He is passionate about taking care of complex, critically ill patient involving transplantation, ECMO, MARS and COVID 19. His area of interest is Post ICU Care syndrome, E-ICU, ECMO and health care tech. He specializes in health care delivery and innovation through multidisciplinary team approach. He is an alternate Delegate for AMA representing SCCM. He is part of membership committee of the Florida chapter of SCCM.
