Bryan Boling is an Advanced Practice Provider in the Department of Anesthesiology, Perioperative Critical Care, and Pain Medicine at the University of Kentucky and an Assistant Professor in the Berkley School of Nursing at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. He splits his clinical time between the Neurocritical Care and Surgical Critical Care Services. In addition to his clinical duties, Bryan works with the UK’s APP Critical Care Fellowship Program, coordinating simulation lab and point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) teaching. In his academic role, he teaches in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program, where he also serves as the Coordinator of POCUS Education.
Bryan is a nationally known speaker, author, and cohost of the popular medical education podcast, Critical Care Scenarios. He is active in several professional organizations, including the Society for Critical Care Medicine, the Neurocritical Care Society, and the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, and is the president of the Association of Post-Graduate APRN Programs.
Bryan lives in Lexington, KY, with his wife Sarah, children Caleb and Molly Kate, and dog Mayzie and cats Oreo and Tigger.
